Any Button block in the block editor can fire confetti when someone clicks it. You pick the effect on each button separately, so two buttons on the same page can run different ones.
Turn on the integration
- Go to Settings → Confetti and open the Integrations tab.
- Find Button Block in the list and click its toggle.
Button Block is always available, since it comes with WordPress rather than a separate plugin.
Turning the toggle on doesn’t make any button fire yet. It adds the Confetti panel to the block editor, and each button stays quiet until you choose an effect for it.
Add confetti to a button
- Edit the page or post that has your button.
- Click the Button block to select it.
- Open the Confetti panel in the block settings sidebar on the right.
- Pick the effect you want.
- Update the page.
Repeat that on any other button you want to celebrate. Leaving a button’s effect unset keeps it silent, which is how you turn one back off.
When it fires
The confetti runs when a visitor clicks the button, whether that button links somewhere or submits something. If the button goes to another page, the effect fires on the way out, so keep that in mind when you pick one that takes a while to finish.
Confetti only loads its scripts on pages that actually have a button set up this way, so pages without one stay untouched.
