Capture Place or Business Name with Address Autocomplete

Address Autocomplete Premium can capture the place or business name associated with a selected address. When a user selects “Starbucks” or “City Hall” from the autocomplete suggestions, you can populate the establishment name into a separate form field.

How to set it up

In your instance’s data population settings, add a new field row:

  • Selector: The CSS selector of the form field where you want the name to appear
  • Data: Use {name:long_name} or {name:short_name}

When is the name available?

The name field is populated when the selected Google Places result includes an establishment or point-of-interest name. For standard residential addresses, the name may be empty or match the street address itself.

Common use cases include business directory forms, appointment booking where the venue name matters, and commercial property listings.

This is a premium-only feature.
