Confetti can fire when a visitor downloads a file through Download Monitor.
Turn on the integration
- Go to Settings → Confetti and open the Integrations tab.
- Find Download Monitor in the list and click its toggle.
Switching the toggle on points Download Monitor at your Default effect, so it starts working straight away.
Download Monitor has to be installed and active to appear under Available Plugin Integrations. If you find it under Not Currently Available, the plugin isn’t active yet.
Choose which effect runs
- Click the gear icon next to Download Monitor.
- Pick the effect you want from the Confetti Instance dropdown.
- Click Save.
Choosing None (Disabled) turns the integration back off.
When it fires
The confetti runs when Download Monitor reports the download as started. Since the file downloads in the background rather than moving the visitor to a new page, the effect has time to play out.
