Google Places Cost for Address Autocomplete

Google Maps/Places API does technically have a cost. However, Google provides free monthly usage for each API. The legacy Places API Autocomplete falls under the Essentials tier, which includes 10,000 free autocomplete requests per month.

For the vast majority of websites, 10,000 requests per month is more than enough and you will never be charged.

Note: Prior to March 2025, Google offered a flat $200/month credit. This has been replaced with the per-SKU free usage model described above.
