A field’s box under Fill in these fields can hold more than one line, which is useful when a single textarea or block of text should get the whole address.
Click into the field’s box and press Enter to start a new line, then use + Address data to add the parts for that line. For example:
{address1:long_name}
{locality:long_name}, {administrative_area_level_1:short_name} {postal_code:long_name}
The line breaks are kept or swapped depending on the kind of field being filled:
- Text inputs can only show one line, so each line break becomes a space.
- Textareas keep the line breaks.
- Text on the page (like a
div,spanorp) gets a line break between each line.
